With a month into the school year, October is the perfect time to reset and keep things moving. Here’s a quick update on what’s coming up—and some tips to help you stay on track!
Thanksgiving Weekend 🍂
Thanksgiving is here to spend time with friends and family, eat good food, and to think about the things we are grateful for this long weekend!
Halloween Fun: Stay Safe 🎃
With Halloween being right around the corner here are some quick reminders to stay safe:
- Stick to well-lit streets
- Rock some reflective gear or bring a flashlight so you are seen
- Examine all of your candy and treats before diving in
- Make sure your costume’s comfy—no tripping over capes or struggling to see!
Heads Up: Report Cards Coming Soon! 📝
Report cards are dropping next month. But hey, no need to stress—there’s still time to boost those grades. Let’s ensure that our students stay on top of assignments and to ask for help when needed so we can finish strong. We got this!
Tips For Our Students To Keep You on Track 📚
- Stay organized: Use a planner to keep track of deadlines.
- Be vocal: Don’t be shy about asking questions or getting help—it makes a big difference.
- Take breaks: Short breaks keep your brain from frying. You will focus better.
- Get your sleep: Seriously, a good night’s sleep works wonders for school performance.
From all of us at One Step Forward Tutoring Services, have an awesome Thanksgiving and a fun (and safe) Halloween! 🎃🍂
